Abstract

These Rules provide that every importer, manufacturer and vendor of fertilizers or animal foodstuffs shall keep records in respect of every transaction he or she makes in fertilizers or animal foodstuffs. The Rules prescribe contents of the records and require the vendor to keep the records for at least two years after the date of the transaction in the case of fertilizer and at least one year after the date of the transaction in the case of an animal foodstuff. Offences are defined and penalties are prescribed.
