A permit to fell any tree on private land shall be in the Form as set out in part B of the First Schedule to these Regulations. A permit for clearfell, i.e. felling of all trees over ten centimetres in diameter at a height of 1.3. metres on private lands shall be in the form as set out in the Second Schedule of these Regulations. Requirements for a felling permit are set out in regulation 6. In specified cases a Forest Management Plan is required. Regulations 8 ad 9 concern bulk felling permits.
