The present Ordinance has entered into force on 18 November 2004.
Abstract

A Ordinance to regulate in detail the production and marketing of animal feed in the Federal Republic of Germany. The text contains at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed such as "feedstuffs", "additives", "third state", "contracting state", etc. In the following articles the various kinds of feedstuffs are dealt with; in particular, in regard of their composition, as well as their packing and labelling. Part 4 governs the authorization to the use of additives and lists harmful substances not to be used.The Ordinance consists of 37 articles divided into 10 Parts. Seven Annexes are enclosed.
