Abstract The present Federal Law establishes legal basis for breeding and keeping honeybees and their usage for pollination of agricultural entomophilous plants. It regulates relationship accompanying activities in the field of beekeeping and also protection of honeybees. The Federal Law consists of 8 Chapters composed of 35 articles. Chapter 1 lays down the general provisions. Chapter 2 deals with carrying out activity in the sphere of beekeeping. Chapter 3 regards property matters in the field of beekeeping. Chapter 4 concerns state management in the field of beekeeping. Chapter 5 regards honeybee protection. Chapter 6 deals with dispute settlement in the process of beekeeping activity and establishes liability for the infringement of the national legislation in the field of beekeeping activity. Chapter7 regards international cooperation in the field of beekeeping. Chapter 8 lays down the final provisions. Full text English
