The Federal Law enters into force from the date of its official publication.
Abstract

The Federal Law consists of 7 Chapters composed of 55 articles. Chapter 1 lays down the general provisions. Chapter 2 establishes ownership relationship within condominium and the duties of houseowners. Chapter 3 management and maintenance of condominiums. Chapter 4 regards organization of condominiums. Chapter 5 concerns functioning of condominiums. Chapter 6 deals with organization of condominiums in newly set unit. Chapter 7 lays down the conclusive provisions. Article 1 establishes that condominium is a common complex of immovable property that includes plot of land within fixed boundaries, habitable premises situated on it and other inhabitable premises. Article 5 specifies that condominiums can comprehend plots of land within established boundaries, swimming pools, water basins, water reservoirs and other objects united by common plot of land and elements of infrastructure. Article 7 determines that common property in condominiums regards sanitary and technical equipment placed outside or within habitable premises and adjoining plots of land within fixed limits. Article 10 establishes that the boundaries of the plots of land within condominiums are determined by the legislation currently in force regarding the allotment of land. Article 14 establishes that territorial or local technical inventory office issue registration certificate of immovable property on the basis of data forwarded by architecture and urban planning office, land use planning and land resources offices. Article 17 specifies that houseowners must pay for cold and hot water supplies, sewerage and other communal services in accordance with the legislation currently in force.
