Abstract This Law is composed of 3 articles and amends Federal Law No. 5 of 1979 on agricultural quarantine. Article 1 amends Paragraph 1 of Article 2 as follows: “all plants and plant products are to be subject to the Agricultural Quarantine Regulation, and they shall not be allowed to enter the country if there is a suspect of contamination with one of the diseases listed in Annex 1 attached to this Law. A resolution of the Cabinet, upon a proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Fish Resources, may amend the aforementioned Annex by adding or cancelling any plant diseases and pests”.
