Abstract

This Federal Law introduces the concept of forest park green belts. These shall be considered areas with a limited regime of nature management and other economic activities, which include "the territories on which the forests are located and the territories of the green fund within the boundaries of urban areas that are adjacent to these forests or constitute a single natural ecological system". The order of creation of such belts, the regime of special protection of natural objects located therein, as well as the features of timber extraction by cutting trees and other vegetation or other plantations in forest park green belts and the procedure for their compensation are determined. The administrative responsibility for violation of the regime of economic and other activities in the forest park green belt has been established.
