The Federal Law enters into force from the date of its official publication.
Abstract

Article 1 acquires a new wording: “Trademark and identification symbol are designations serving for identification of commodities”. Article 4 acquires a new wording: “The owner of trademark has the right of use thereof and has the rights to prohibit its use by other persons. No one can use trademark protected in the Russian Federation without prior consent of the owner”. In the Article 10 the wording “Patent Department” must be substituted with the wording “Federal Executive Body on Intellectual Property”.
