The Federal Law enters into force from the date of its official publication.
Abstract

The present Federal Law determines the purposes and contents of the system of state prognostication of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation and programs of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation as well as general modalities of the elaboration of the aforesaid prognostication and programs. Prognostication of socio-economic development is based upon the state on the state of environment and ecological factors. The Program of socio-economic development must envisage the prospects of agricultural development and ecological policy. The Federal Law consists of 6 Articles. Article 1 defines the main concepts. Article 2 regards the system of state prognostication of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation. Article 3 regards long-term state prognostication of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation. Article 4 regards mid-term state prognostication and program of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation. Article 5 regards short-term state prognostication and program of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation. Article 6 lays down final provisions.
