Abstract This Law is composed of 5 Sections divided into 27 articles. Article 1 gives terms and definitions. Section I deals with licences for veterinary surgeons, registration, requirements and documents necessary for the issuance of licences (arts. 2-9). Section II provides for the issuance of licences for veterinary installations such as hospitals, ambulatories, commercial animal production farms, pharmacies, etc. (arts. 10-13). Section III defines duties of veterinary surgeons (arts. 14-18) . Section IV contains offences and penalties (arts. 19-21). Section V deals with bailiffs and officers assigned for the control and inspection of veterinary installations (art. 22).
