Abstract

This Act provides with respect to Federal fire prevention and control administration. It establishes the National Fire Prevention and Control Administration, National Academy for Fire Prevention and Control, and a National Fire Data Center. It also concerns forest fires, brush fires, fire underground, oil blow-out fires, and waterborne fires and promotes projects to combat arson in rural areas and to improve the capability of firefighters to identify and prevent arson initiated fires in rural areas and public forests.
