Abstract

The amendment of the above-mentioned Act (BGBl. No. 440/1975) concerns article 45(2), which reads as follows: "The detailed regulations are to be issued by the Federal Minister of Agriculture and Forestry being empowered to dispose wood which is affected or threatened by forest pest. Moreover it is established that: (a) affected wood has to be felled; (b) that storage of diseased wood also outside the forest is allowed only if the affected wood has been treated with chemical substances; and (c) that all relevant details of imported wood have to be reported to the competent local authority and d) that for the official examination of wood processing plants a fee has to be paid". Moreover, article 46 together with its title is deleted.
