In particular, section 39 establishes that before serving notice of expropriation, the expropriating party shall file with the Administrative Tribunal of Québec a plan and description of the immovable or immovable real right to be expropriated signed by a land surveyor; if several immovables are to be expropriated, the expropriating party may, instead, file a general plan signed by a land surveyor.
