Abstract

The present Act lays down provisions relating to expropriation proceedings in Québec. In particular, section 39 establishes that before serving notice of expropriation, the expropriating party shall file with the Administrative Tribunal of Québec a plan and description of the immovable or immovable real right to be expropriated signed by a land surveyor; if several immovables are to be expropriated, the expropriating party may, instead, file a general plan signed by a land surveyor. The text consists of 91 sections.
