Abstract These Regulations, under the Import and Export (Control) Act, No. 1 of 1969 and consisting of seven sections and one Schedule, establish export requirements as specified in Column I of the attached Schedule. Every exporter, according to the exported article, shall furnish a certificate of conformity with the Sri Lanka Standard stipulated for that article issued by laboratory accredited for the testing. Every exporter who exports any article setout in the Schedule shall (before Customs Clearance) make available to the Director General of Customs with Certificate of Clearance issued by the Director General of Sri Lanka Standards Institution with all documents relating to the articles and samples from each consignment as may be required by them.
