Abstract

This Act makes provision for the control on the exportation of fruit from Trinidad and Tobago and provides rules with respect to such exportation. All fruit intended for export shall be packed and shipped in accordance with this Act and Regulations made under this Act. The Minister may appoint fruit inspectors and designate one of the inspectors as Chief Fruit Inspector. The Act grants regulation-making powers to the Minister.
