Abstract These Regulations implement restrictions on exports of certain animals and animal products in accordance with Commission Decision of 21 February 2001 concerning certain protection measures with regard to foot-and-mouth disease in the United Kingdom. It places restrictions on the export of live animals, fresh meat, meat products, milk and milk products, semen, ova or embryos of animals of the bovine, ovine, caprine and porcine species and other biungulates, hides, skins and other animal products. It also defines powers of inspectors and prescribes offences.
