Abstract

These Regulations amend The Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 so as to give effect to Commission Decision 2007/588/EC which amends Commission Decision 2007/554/EC concerning certain protection measures against foot-and-mouth disease in the United Kingdom. In paragraph (2)(a) of regulation 5 and paragraph (2)(d) of regulation 7 “Great Britain” is replaced with “the protection zones and the surrounding consolidated surveillance zone established in accordance with Article 21 of Directive 2003/85/EC in County Surrey in Great Britain".
