Abstract The purpose of these Rules is to ensure that milk products are handled and processed at all stages of production, storage and transport under proper hygienic conditions so as to meet health requirements and specifications laid down under these rules. The Competent Authority shall regularly inspect and monitor all establishments where milk and/or products are treated, processed and packed in order to ensure that the rules provided in the text are being observed.
