These Rules enter into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The aim of these Rules is to ensure that live fish intended for export are handled and held at all stages, including transport, under proper hygienic conditions so as to meet the health requirements and specifications laid down by the Central Government. The Export Inspection Agencies shall ensure that the establishments comply with the requirements by regularly monitoring and inspecting the establishments.
