Abstract The purpose of these Rules is to ensure that fresh poultry meat and poultry meat products intended for export are handled and processed at all stages of production, storage and transport under proper hygienic conditions so as to meet health requirements and specifications laid down under these rules. The competent authority shall ensure that the establishments comply with the requirements by regularly monitoring and inspecting them.
