These Rules enter into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

Amendments include a new definition for "Director" and the addition after sub-rule 12.2 of a new sub-rule as follows: "The Director may take the assistance of Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) or any other suitable organization for residue monitoring".
