This Executive Order shall take effect fifteen days after its complete publication in a national newspaper of general circulation and fifteen days after registration with the office of the National Administrative Register.
Abstract

This Executive Order provides for rationalisation of various river basin projects such as the Pasig river rehabilitation, Kamanava flood control, Agno river and Allied rivers flood control and to promote and advocate an integrated river basin management for protection of environment. According to this Order a Laguna lake rehabilitation project is created (Section 1) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)shall have the direct administrative supervision (Section 2). Sections 3 provides for organisational structure and Section 4 for staffing. Other Sections of this Order are as follow: Scope of authority and responsibility (5); Implementation arrangement (6); Budgetary support (7); Inter-Agency cooperation (8); Repeal (9); Effectivity (10).
