Entry into force notes
This Executive Order shall take effect fifteen days after its complete publication in a national newspaper of general circulation and fifteen days after registration with the office of the National Administrative Register.
Abstract

This Regulation is enacted with the purpose of protection and promotion of the conversation and wise use of the country's natural resources including water resources management and development plan for the water resources, provide safe and clean water supply and flood control management. The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is the primary responsible government agency for conservation of the country's environment. According to Section one of the Regulation the River Basin Control Office (RBCO) under the DENR is mandated as the oversight agency for all government efforts and initiatives within the country’s river basins. The Regulation consists of the following Sections: Declaration (1); Power and function of the BRCO (2); Budgetary support (3); Inter-Agency cooperation (4); Repeal (5); Effectivity (6).
