This Executive Order enters into force on the day after its publication.
Abstract

This Executive Order approves the Storm Surge Alert System. The Storm Surge alert system is divided into Alert and Warning which are issued or canceled by the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau as the situation evolves. The Storm Surge Alert is issued by the Bureau of Meteorological and Geophysical Services prior to the Warning and according to the predicted flood possibility. According to geographical location, historical flood records and meteorological characteristics of the Macao Special Administrative Region, five levels of Warning (according to their gravity) are established: 1. Blue; 2. Yellow; 3. Orange; 4. Red and 5. Black.
