Abstract

The Order applies to deep-sea commercial fishing quota which is regulated on basis of catch (detailed in Annex 1) and fishing license is granted on the base of vessel capacity and tonnage. Foreign vessels are permitted total allowable catch as detailed in the document, and the Directorate of Fisheries, Hunting and Agriculture is authorized to revise it should the government make changes on the catch quota or should international agreements implement a redistribution regulations of total allowable catch (columns 2 to 7 in the Annex).
