This Order shall take effect immediately.
Abstract

This Order, consisting of five sections, adopts the Policy for Ensuring Sustainable Renewable Energy Resource Management and Mandating the Department of Energy (DOE) to lead in its implementation. Consistent with the Philippines contributions under the UNFCCC, the government adopts the policy for ensuring sustainable RE resource management in the country. The DOE and/or other departments, bureaus, offices, agencies and instruments of the government, may enter into such agreements as may be necessary for an effective implementation of this Order and consistent with existing laws and the commitments of the Philippines under UNFCCC Paris Agreement.
