Abstract This Executive Decree approves the Regulation of the Technical-Scientific Council of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries. This Regulation, consisting of 15 articles, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Council, as the Minister's advisory support body for issues of a specialized and extended nature, linked to the plan for the management and planning of biological, aquatic and forestry resources. In particular, the Technical-Scientific Council has the following competencies: a) issue an opinion on the fishing capacity and effort to the exploitable potential based on scientific recommendations; b) Analyse technical measures for the conservation of species and their ecosystems, methodologies and norms aimed at supporting and sustainable development of fisheries and forestry resources.
