This Executive Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Executive Decree approves the Regulation of the National Institute for Water Resources (INARH). This Regulation, consisting of 5 Chapters and 2 Annexes, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned water institution, which is under the supervision of the Ministry of Energy and Water, is entitled: to prepare the National policy of water resources, to control over its implementation, monitoring and evaluation; to guarantee water resources planning, aiming at its efficient and sustainable use; to establish plans, programmes and projects for the development, protection, conservation, preservation, valorisation and efficient use of water resources; to design and implement the National Plan of Water Resources, according to General Development Plan of each Hydrographical Basin, etc. Annexes specify composition and duties of this water institution.
