Abstract This Executive Decree approves the Regulation of the Advisory Council of the Ministry of Tourism. This Regulation, consisting of 14 articles, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Advisory Council, entitled to perform the following activities: a) Support the Minister of Tourism in evaluating and supervising the implementation of the public investment programme and the ministerial activities; b) Analyse the organization and operation of the services, superintended agencies and strategic companies of the Sector, suggesting measures to improve it; e) Propose the bases for the elaboration of strategies, development plans, executive programmes, investment plans and financial programming in the field of Tourism; d) Monitor strategic companies of the Sector and the superintended bodies.
