This Executive Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Executive Decree approves the Regulation of the Directive Council of Petroleum. This Regulation establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Council, entitled to: rule on matters of general policy of this Department and sector; assess the activity of the bodies of the Ministry; advise on the internal organization of the Ministry; evaluate the performance of companies in the sector; give advice on practical issues that have importance on the functioning of the services of the Ministry; give opinions on draft laws and other activities relating to oil legislation and on the economic and social projects financed by the Sector; etc.
