This Executive Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Executive Decree approves the Regulation of the National Direction of Petroleum and Biofuel (DNPB) within the Ministry of Oil, according to Presidential Decree No. 33/11 (repealed by Presidential Decree No. 239/12). The Regulation, consisting of 4 Chapters and 2 Annexes, specifies composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned institution, entitled: to design and propose the National policy basis on oil and biofuel; to elaborate the development programme on oil and biofuel exploitation, according to the National Plan; to study and propose a legislation regulating the activities in this sector; to control the implementation of such activities; to carry out research on hydrocarbons, production, processing and trade of crude oil and natural gas, storage, transport and supply of derivatives, including bio fuel. Annexes list composition and duties of this Direction.
