This Executive Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Executive Decree approves the Internal Regulation of the National Directorate for Infrastructures of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries. This Regulation, consisting of three Chapters and two Annexes, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Directorate, entitled to regulate design, manage, control and issue sanitary certification of fishery products and salt. In particular the institution aims to perform the following activities: a) implement measures of infrastructure networks to support fishing, aquaculture and salt, distribution and marketing of the respective products; b) promote the use of appropriate technologies and methods in the field of salt production and fishing support infrastructures; c) promote fish auction and market research; d) technical specifications of the Sector's infrastructures; e) carry out hygienic and sanitary inspection of fishing vessels, establishments for the processing and processing of fishery, aquaculture and salt products; f) monitor the self-control and traceability system for the production of salt, fishery and aquaculture products; g) coordinate with the competent structures the issuing of regulations related to iodization, hygiene and refining of salt, quality management, conditions of production, conservation and transport of salt, etc.
