Abstract This Executive Decree approves the Internal Regulation of the Directive Council of the Ministry of Energy and Water. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Directive Council as the restricted collegial body for consulting the Minister in matters of planning, coordination and evaluation of the Ministry's activities. The Board of Directors is responsible for: a) Pronouncing on issues of general policy of the Ministry and the Sector; b) Assess the activities of the Ministry bodies; c) Pronouncing on the internal organization of the Ministry; d) Assess the performance of the companies in the Sector and the overseen bodies; e) Pronouncing on practical issues regarding the proper functioning of the Ministry's services; f) Issue opinions on draft laws and other legislation relating to the activity of the Energy and Water Sector; g) Pronouncing on the economic and social projects financed by the Sector; etc. Full text Portuguese Website www.legis-palop.org
