Abstract

These Regulations give effect to Regulation (EU) No. 2015/2283 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015, on novel foods and the related EU Regulations that provide for setting out administrative, scientific and consultative requirements to be followed and establish the Union List of Novel Foods. These Regulations introduce offences and penalties for persons that fail to comply with requirements to place novel food on the market., they also establish sampling system and analysis procedure.
