Abstract

These Regulations further transpose into Irish law the provisions of Directive 2011/92/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 December 2011 on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment, as amended by Directive 2014/52/EU, and Council Directive 92/43/EEC, by amending the emergency order provisions in Section 181(2) of the Planning and Development Act 2000. They concern, among other things, procedures including environmental impact assessment report or Natura impact statement for proposed development a affecting the integrity of a European site.
