They also amend the provisions of the Sale of Goods Act 1893. They do not apply to, among other things: contracts for the supply of foodstuffs, beverages or other goods intended for current consumption in the household which are physically supplied by the trader. They require that a consumer must be supplied with certain information and grant certain rights to the consumer as regards the contract.
