Abstract The present Ordinance outlines various organs within the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry responsible for the implementation of directives of the European Union. Article 2 establishes that for the implementation of directives concerning milk and milk products the State Agency for Agriculture is responsible; article 5 rules that the Food, Agriculture and Forestry Offices are responsible for the implementation of directives pertaining to apple production; article 8 specifies that the State Academy for Food, Agriculture and Forestry is the competent authority for the execution of directives concerning financial agricultural measures.
