These Regulations apply to products listed in column 1 of the First Schedule and which are not intended for export to third countries or for use for scientific or experimental purposes (reg. 3). Regulations 4 to 7 restrict the placing on the market of products to which these Regulations apply. Regulations 8 and 9 regulate in detail the possibility offered to persons who have purchased a feedingstuff, and intend to use it in farming operations, to apply for sampling for analysis of such product by the State Chemist. Every person who manufactures, imports or markets relevant feedstuffs shall: (a) keep records of his transactions in such feedstuffs; (b) permit inspection by authorized persons and produce required documents and cooperate with inspectors as required under Regulation 10. The remaining regulations concern enforcement and prescribe offences.
