A person, including the master or person in charge of a vessel or aircraft, shall not import an avian product from Australia or cause or permit another person to import an avian product from Australia. A person, including the master or person in charge of a vessel or aircraft, shall not have in his or her possession or under his or her control an avian product that has been imported in contravention with the above rule. The Regulations provide for enforcement and defence.
