Abstract

This Regulation amends the principal Regulations of 1999 to delineate the duties of the national reference laboratory with reference to Council Directive 95/70/EC. Sampling and laboratory testing for the determination of the cause of abnormal mortality of bivalve molluscs shall be carried out by the national reference laboratory using the methods established in accordance with the procedures laid down in Article 10 of the Council Directive.
