Abstract

These Regulations give effect to Council Directive 97/76 EEC, which lays down rules applicable to minced meat, meat preparations and certain other products of animal origin. The Regulations impose additional production conditions for stomachs, bladders and intestines, prescribe additional labelling rules and modify the circumstances under which certain derogations from the rules for the processing of meat products can be granted.
