The Regulations prescribe offences in relation with the marketing of fruit, vegetables, hops, hemp, olive oil or pomace oil. The Regulations also, among other things, confer powers upon authorized officers to serve compliance notices on the owner or person who appears to be in charge, possession or control of a premises or crop or oil and to take certain emergency measures. The European Communities (Agriculture, Fisheries and Food) (Compliance) Regulations 2009 shall apply to these Regulations and to European legislation supplemented by these Regulations.
