Abstract

These Regulations make rules relative to the marketing of the meat of bovine animals aged 12 months or less. The rules concern classification of meat according to the age of the slaughtered animal, the power of authorized officers to issue a compliance notice in respect of meat that does not meet requirements as set out in Council Regulation (EC) 700/2007 or may cause danger to public or animal health, compliance with or appeal against a compliance notice, and other powers of authorized officers in relation with enforcement and offences committed under these Regulations.
