They amend regulations 2 and 8 and the Second Schedule and insert a new Third Schedule. The amendments concern requirements of food business operators with respect to traceability information of: food of non-animal origin (Schedule 2); and food of animal origin. The Regulations also insert a new provision in regulation on the possibility to adduce the result of any test, examination or analysis of the sample in case of proceedings for an offence under the principal Regulations arising out of a consumer complaint.
