Abstract This Order declares the Headquarters Agreement, between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the North-East Atlantic Fisheries Commission to be a Community Treaty as defined in section 1(2) of the European Communities Act 1972. The principal effect of declaring the Agreement to be a Community Treaty as so defined is to bring into play, in relation to it, the provisions of section 2 of the European Communities Act 1972 which provides for the implementation of Treaties so specified. Effect in the United Kingdom is to the Agreement by Order No. 278 of 1999.
