Abstract

These Regulations amend the European Communities (Dangerous Substances and Preparations) (Marketing and Use) Regulations, 2003. They implement Community legislation relating to restrictions on the marketing and use of specific dangerous substances and preparations. They prohibit the placing on the market of mercury in fever thermometers or in other measuring devices intended for sale to the general public.
