The Regulations implement various pieces of EC legislation relating to marketing and use of specified dangerous substances. The Regulations place restrictions on and define standards for the use and placing on market of those substances and prescribe that selected articles may not be placed on the market unless they conform to the requirements laid down in these Regulations.
