Abstract

These Regulations amend the European Communities (Control of Organisms Harmful to Plants and Plant Products) Regulations 2004 so as to update measures to protect against the introduction into the Community of Pepino mosaic virus present in seeds of tomato, Lycopersicon lycopersicum (L.) Karsten ex Farw., and against its spread within the Community. A person shall not introduce into the State, or move within the State, seeds of tomato, Lycopersicon lycopersicum (L.) Karsten ex Farw., unless they comply with the conditions of Commission Decision 2004/200/EC.
