Abstract

These Regulations amend the European Communities (Classification, Packaging and Labelling of Plant Protection Products and Biocide Products) Regulations 2001 so as to give effect to Commission Directive 2006/8/EC concerning the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States relating to the classification, packaging and labelling of dangerous preparations, in relation to plant protection and biocidal products. They update the principal Regulations relating to inspection and enforcement by authorized officers and (proceedings for) offences under the principal Regulations.
