They restrict the importation of pigs, boar semen and ova or embryo of a pig from Slovakia. The purpose is to prevent the importation of classical swine fever present in regions mentioned in Commission Decision No. 2008/377/EC. A person may not import or posses restricted articles unless they comply with specified Articles of the Commission Decision. The Regulations also define powers of authorized officers.
